Silentnight Memory Foam Pillow – Review

Do you struggle to have a good nights sleep?

As a parent do we ever have a great nights sleep? Apart from the usual parenting woes do you sleep well?

I don’t

I’ve always been a pretty terrible sleeper

I am a light sleeper which doesn’t help, every snort or squeak of the floorboard wakes me up

I have to wear earplugs

I find it difficult to find good pillows.  I am really fussy.  I don’t like them too soft but I also don’t like them hard

SleepyPeople.com is the place for a great night sleep

SleepyPeople.com have a fantastic selection of pillows, duvets, mattresses, toppers and protectors as well as bedding

Every you need for a great night sleep

I was sent the Silentnight Impress Memory Foam pillow to review

pillow

The pillow came in a lovely box

The pillow’s ergonomic contoured shape and temperature sensitive memory foam are great for helping to reduce stress and for relieving pressure, back pain and aching joints.

I suffer from shoulder pain I think from my posture at work.  I noticed after using this pillow the pain was reduced

pillow

The pillow looks great.  It is non allergenic and has a machine washable cover

The pillow molds perfectly to the contours of the body for ultimate support.

The first 2 nights I used the pillow I really didn’t like it

I found it too firm and I couldn’t get comfortable

I decided to preserve with it and I’m glad I did

By the 3rd night I felt better.  I noticed that I was sleeping more soundly & my shoulder wasn’t as sore

I noticed that the pillow was contouring to my head much easier than the previous nights

I’m a side sleeper but I do roll onto my back in the night

I have used pillows for side sleepers before but found them uncomfortable as they have a ridge in them

SleepyPeople.com has a pillow selector tool to help you find the best pillow for you

The Silentnight Impress Memory Foam pillow is £32.99.  This might seem a lot but I haven’t used any other pillow with this

The great thing about memory foam is that it lasts for a long time, the pillow comes with a 2 year warranty

I’ve wondered about memory foam pillows before but have been put off by reviews that they are quite firm. It’s interesting that it took a couple of days to wear it in. I might give it a try. S x

I like the sound of this pillow! I am so fussy with my bed pillows, if James happens to steal one out of my two I know about it! I would also like to add…wine really helps sleep 😉 xx

These sound great. I’ve used a memory foam mattress before and like you it took a few days to get used to, but now I love it so much. I’ve never thought about getting memory foam pillows too. xx

This looks like a great pillow. I can sleep anywhere and on anything but my husband is always complaining about how uncomfortable our bed and pillows are. I’ll definitely mention this to him, sounds like a great buy x

My parents have a memory foam mattress and I know they said it took a little while to get used to but they’d never go back now. I love the idea of a memory foam pillow.
