World Calligraphy Day

Today is the first ever World Calligraphy Day

Manuscript Pen Company are hosting a variety of events and workshops taking place around the world and predominantly at the Pen Museum, Birmingham.

I have always been in awe of people who can use calligraphy, I think it is beautiful

I was sent the Beginners Calligraphy Fountain Pen Set & the Callicreative DuoTips

I was also sent a blank sheet to try my hand at Calligraphy

It’s harder than it looks!!

I thought the Beginners set was great & really easy to hold – it cost £7.49 which I think in really reasonable

I love the Duotips & their colours.  I think this is a great way to get kids interested as well, they cost £7.99 which I think is a really good price.  As the name suggests they are Duotips, there’s a thick tip at one end & a thin one at the other

I used the thick end for my sign – I think I need more practice though!
