Shake That Weight – first impressions

My baby belly is flabby & I feel probably at my heaviest

I’m trying to workout as much as I can but my motivation fluctuates at the moment

I’m trying to eat healthy but there are times, when I feel low in mood, I just want to eat rubbish

As a start I’ve stopped buying rubbish so there’s none in the house, although Mr M can be quite bad at the weekend buying big bags of crisps

Shake That Weight is a meal replacement programme

They have 2 different programmes, a complete meal replacement for those with a BMI over 30 & partial meal replacement for those with BMI 25-30. I went for the partial meal replacement. I replace all but my main meal at night with the Shake That Weight products. I have a healthy tea

I have been sent 2 weeks of various meals & snacks to try

I have chosen a mix of porridge, shakes, noddles, soups, cereal bars & meals

It cost £67 for everything I chose, that’s £33.50 per week. Our food shopping can be £70-£90 weekly depending on what we need that week

Everything seems really easy to make, the meals & bars especially

They didn’t have any shakers for the shakes which is a little unfortunate but I have a blender so that will do for now

I did notice that one of the bars has more calories that the usual cereal bars that I buy from the supermarket

I chose things I like the sound of & there is a really good variety of flavours, I look forward to having the gingerbread shake & the Beef Chilli noodles sound yummy

I’ll let you know how I’m getting on after a week then again once I’ve finished. Hopefully I’ll lose some weight!!!
