Mini M is currently obsessed with sharks, when we were asked to review Blackpool Sea Life Centre we couldn’t refuse
We were told they had launched their new Ranger Table which allows you to get more hands on, sounds great!
Blackpool Sea Life Centre is on the front not far from the Tower.
When we arrived we were given some paper goggles which Mini M loved
We wen straight to the Rock Pool & Mini M was fascinated by the crabs, the great thing about the Rock Pool is you can put your hands in & it’s really interactive
Next we went to the Atlantic Depths which shows sea creatures & fish that can be found of the coastline of the North West
Mini M loved the Stingray Experience, he found them fascinating
Next we saw the Seahorses & the Submarine zone.
In the same area as the seahorses we saw clownfish & blue tangs (Nemo & Dory fish)
Next we went to the Rainforest adventure & saw frogs & giant snails. This was supposed to be where the Ranger Table was but there was nothing there during our visit
We went to the Ocean Tunnel. First we listened to a talk about the different sharks in the tank then we walked through. Mini M was fascinated & so happy to actually see some sharks himself.
Finally we went to the new Sea Stars area
We were in the Sea Life Centre for about 2 hours. The great thing is your ticket is valid all day so you can come & go as much as you like. You can go back for the different feeding times later in the day. They also do experiences like swimming with the sharks. You can even get married there!!
Mini M loved his visit & living so close we will be back again
